Servicio en Español Fort Worth
Hispanics are the largest and fastest growing minority group in the U.S. population, and the large majority professes to be Christians – Catholic and Protestant. They are making major contributions to the country’s economy and society. Hispanic membership is increasing in Christian congregations throughout the United States, posing major opportunities and challenges for the churches that serve them.
The vision of our Hispanic Ministry is based on the experience of the Holy Spirit's power on the day of Pentecost, of a "Church for all the Nations, where all can hear the mighty works of God in their own tongue" (Acts 2:8).
Our mission is to know (conocer), share (compartir), and celebrate (celebrar) the hope (esperanza) of God with Hispanic people in the greater Fort Worth area.
One of our many goals is to make every Hispanic feel welcomed and valued here at BCC. We want to eliminate the language barrier that exists by providing ministry opportunities that will make it easier for us to minister to their specific needs and see them grow in the Lord.
Because of this, we need your help. If you speak Spanish, get connected with this ministry and help us shrink the divide. Here are some opportunities that you can help us with:
• Be a Door Greeter
• Be a Host/Hostess for new guests
• Check in/out translator devices
• Translate the Sunday service into Spanish
• Translate printed material into Spanish
