Partnering with Parents to Teach Kids About Jesus
Birth – 5th Grade
Welcome to Bethesda Kids, the children’s ministry of Bethesda Community Church! We count it a blessing to care for and minister to your child. We are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment in each classroom. Children – even babies – are never too young to have the Word of God spoken over them. Through age-appropriate teaching, crafts, and exciting worship and games, our desire is to introduce children to Jesus, teach them how to hear His voice, and encourage them to follow His steps. Matthew 22:37 states, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” With this verse as their motto, children can take a stand for Christ even when others don’t. They can live a life of extreme faith for Jesus!
Bethesda Kids is offered each week during the Sunday morning service and the Wednesday evening service. Childcare for birth-kindergarten is offered during the Sunday evening prayer service.
Volunteer Opportunities
“Bethesda Community Church takes child protection seriously. Therefore, all church employees and kids’ volunteers have been trained by MinistrySafe, a 5-Part Safety System. This system includes Awareness Training, Skillful Screening, Policies and Procedures, Background Checks, and Monitoring and Oversight. These overlapping layers of protection aid us in ensuring no situation is overlooked.” – Pastor Brenda Hardeman
