Keeping your children safe.


The safety of children attending Xtreme Kidz is a focus of our attention. All of our staff and volunteers have been carefully screened, undergone a background check, as well as participated in abuse prevention training. In addition, the Xtreme Kidz area is locked at all times. Members are given an identification card which, when scanned at the door, allows them into the area. Guests are ushered into the children’s area and introduced to our check in staff. If you are a new member, please contact the children’s department to be issued a security card for access to your child’s room.

The check in system is used for Sunday and Wednesday events and is available starting 15 minutes prior to service time. Members may use one of the 6 touch screen monitors to access the names of their children. Staff is available at each of the two visitor stations to assist our guests with the check in process. Once the child’s name is selected, a name badge is printed for your child as well as a corresponding tag for the parent that includes a unique ID number. The only person who may pick up your child is the person who holds the matching parent tag. If your child should need you during the service, their unique ID number will be flashed on a display in the sanctuary so you may exit and attend to your child’s need.

For the protection of all of our children and teachers, we cannot accept a child in the classroom with any of the following symptoms:

  • Fever
  • Yellow or green discharge from the eyes or nose
  • Swelling in any part of the body
  • Repeated vomitting
  • Extremely lethargic behavior
  • Diarrhea
  • Any rash other than diaper rash
  • Any childhood disease
  • Lice 
     

It is our policy to not administer medication of any kind to children. If your child becomes ill while in our care, you will be asked to pick up your child immediately. We appreciate your help in making Xtreme Kidz a healthy place.
