What We Believe

We believe that the Bible – from Genesis to Revelation – is the authoritative, inspired, and accurate Word of God. The Bible is the standard by which our lives must be measured, and the truth contained therein remains relevant and applicable for our lives today.
We believe in one eternal God who is Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
The Father is completely holy and loving. The Son is fully God and fully man and the only One able to reconcile us to God. The Holy Spirit fills the believer and empowers those who follow the Lord Jesus to do the work of the ministry. He convicts, encourages, comforts, teaches, and imparts spiritual gifts to the body of Christ.
We believe that sin has separated all of humanity from a Holy God, but in His great mercy and love, He sent His Son to take the punishment for our sin through a cruel death on the cross. Now, because of this precious gift, we can receive forgiveness if we repent of our sins, believe in Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives.
We believe in the gathering of God’s people (the Church) for the purpose of corporate worship, prayer, the teaching of the Word, and the encouragement of the community of faith.

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, subsequent to salvation. The release of the power of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer is for the purpose of equipping and empowering one to do the work of the ministry. The fullness of the Holy Spirit is evidenced by the fruits and the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is returning for His bride (the Church), just as He promised in the Bible.
